Thorens

Thorens — A Legacy of Analogue Excellence

An enduring name in analogue audio, known internationally for precision turntables and a long history of mechanical craftsmanship.

Thorens traces its origins to Switzerland in 1883 and is now a German-based high-end audio brand. Its reputation rests primarily on analogue playback engineering and iconic turntable designs. Heritage tape-related products are part of its broader history, but the current brand should not be presented as a manufacturer of new open-reel recorders.
